DSG / zf8hp TRANSMISSION REMAP

A direct-shift gearbox (DSG) is found in modern automatic vehicles. It is arguably one of the finest gearboxes available, as is the ZF8HP and is a masterpiece of engineering, able to change gear in a fraction of a second and predict a drivers next move. However, they can be restrictive as they are produced to meet the needs of the general user.

Our custom transmission upgrades involve a simple software update to your ECU, and will improve your gearbox shift speed, providing you with a smoother, more responsive drive. We can also include Safe Launch, shift and torque limiter function, and other setting adjustments to give you the best driving experience possible.

Increased shift response
The shift response times can be improved by up to 20%, and paddle-reaction-time by up to 40% when in Sport Mode. This will provide a smoother gear transition, reduces clutch-slip at full acceleration, and helps protect your vehicle from clutch damage or failure.

Torque limiter modification
By tuning the DSG / ZF8HP control unit, we can release the true torque value of your engine, whilst also ensuring the safe performance of all mechanical parts within the  transmission.

RPM limiter adjustments
Your DSG / ZF8HP controls the RPM of your engine. By increasing these shift points, the driver is given further control over the engine’s power, especially in higher RPM ranges.
